Online Movement Class
and start your journey to a more aligned and active life
Classes take place via Zoom so you can join from the comfort of your own home wherever you are in the world. Each class is 30 min in duration.
Movement Fundamentals Classes get the whole body moving, usually with a specific focus, for example improving balance, walking, posture, shoulder mobility etc. I teach a range of corrective exercises that can be modified to match your ability level. Each exercise helps to improve a functional movement such as looking over your shoulder which can help with driving a car, walking, lifting and carrying, breathing, getting up and down from the floor etc. We also work on strength, flexibility and fitness.
Mat-Based Core Classes focus on co-ordinating breath with movement in order to develop a strong core. There is a strong focus on body alignment. Students will learn about the relationship between the pelvis and rib-cage, the pelvic floor and diaphragm, enabling them to improve posture and build a strong foundation for everyday movements and more vigorous exercise outside of class.
